Meet Our Staff
Who we are: Each member of our therapist team has a great deal of experience and training. Authenticity, warmth, and openness are a detrimental part of how we practice and who we are as individuals. Our goal is to be real and not hide behind a veil of professionalism or pretenses. We have overcome struggles in our own lives which makes us feel uniquely qualified to help to you with yours. Whatever you may be feeling, no matter how scary or different it seems, you are not alone.

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” – Lao Tzu
Do you feel stuck in your current thought patterns? Therapy can help you break this cycle of negative thought. Oftentimes we don’t realize the negative thoughts that self-sabotage our lives. Being mindful of our thoughts is the first step in changing those patterns with a combination of CBT, DBT, and a strong focus on mindfulness, I can help you break that cycle.
I enjoy helping those who have experienced trauma, children, families, and couples. I have an extensive background working with children with behavioral issues and ASD as well as adults dealing with trauma that includes: 5 years of working with military (and non-military) school-age children on behavior modification, mindfulness, and emotional regulation in home and school settings. I have also spent two years working with children ages 3-18 using applied behavioral analysis, AIM, and ACT. I have spent the last 5 years providing treatment for trauma, familial issues, anxiety, depression, and anger management to children, adolescents, and adults.
Anxiety, PTSD, depression, child and adolescent therapy are only a few of the specialty areas that I offer. I am also interested in working with :
- LGBTQ relationships
- Personality disorders
- Bipolar disorder
- Grief
- Loss
- Non-monogamous identities/polyamory
- Kink/BDSM-identified individuals.
